New Moon Women’s
Self Bodywork Circles
This is a free community event held on or near the new moon each month.
To get more details, please rsvp below. Women, girls, & young children are welcome.
This is an event for women to reflect, connect, & nourish their bodies, minds, wombs, & hearts.
Why New Moon?
Traditionally, women would bleed with the waning of the New Moon and ovulate with the waxing of the Full Moon. During our bleeding time, the veil is thin for women, meaning that we are more able to access what lives within the ethereal realm. This time has been used for sacred introspection and gathering with other women. The “Yin” part of our cycle asks us to move slowly and just to be with what arises within us.
Often we are encouraged to overlook our cyclical nature and to participate in the world as if we do not cycle like the moon. When in reality, this is our most tender & powerful time. Our senses are heightened, our primal instincts are alive, & often times our emotions are fierce and raw.
During this gathering, we provide a space for you to be with it all with honor instead of withholding. A deep softening into the truth that you are exactly where you are supposed to be as woman, as human, as mother, & as lover.
Held in a beautiful space right on Crystal Lake, gatherings will include:
Self bodywork with organic herbal infused oils
Optional foot-baths
Sauna
Potluck
Community Ritual
